Join us on May 15, 2024, for the Bit Selection Guidelines Luncheon. Paul Pastusek from ExxonMobil will be sharing guidelines for selecting the best bit.

The objective of bit selection is to drill a flawless hole that reaches all targets in one run. The meeting aims to share guidelines on how to achieve this, covering formation properties, directional objectives, and bit design. These guidelines are based on forensics observations and physics modeling, and they are meant to be challenged, tested, and revised as new technology develops.
