Motors failing on onshore directional drilling sites is a common problem, with up to 25% requiring replacement. About 30% of these failures are due to power section issues. A precise seal between the stator and rotor is necessary to optimize ROP and prevent motor failure. AI can now help predict power section performance by combining laser-measured stators, motor-run reports, and drilling conditions. This can reduce NPT, improve drilling efficiency, and extend the life of costly power sections.

Our Keynote Speaker, Justin Miller

Justin Miller works as Direct Sales Manager at E&P Data. E&P Data is a leader in utilizing AI and data science to revolutionize predictive drilling in the Energy Industry.


Prior to E&P Data, Justin held various roles at Landmark/Halliburton where he worked for over 10 years. Starting out as a Geoscience Consultant, he then lead teams on many implementation projects that ensured customers received maximum value from their software. He helped drastically improve business processes for his customers through a unique workflow mapping workshop.   He then expanded into technical sales and account manager roles that saw him responsible for creating unique software solutions in the drilling domain. Through this experience he has been seen as a trusted-advisor with a unique ability to translate complicated technical processes to a variety of roles within his customer base. 


Justin holds BS (Georgia Southwestern State) and MS (University of Georgia) degrees in Geology.


Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation for an IADD event must be submitted in writing to info@iadd-intl.org. Cancellations requested two weeks before an event will receive a full refund less a $50.00 handling fee. For cancellations one week or less prior to the event, no refunds will be paid. For IADD event no-shows, no refunds will be issued.

 

In the case that IADD cancels or reschedules an event, IADD shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation, etc. The IADD encourages delegates to take out travel insurance when making travel and accommodation arrangements. The registration fee will either be refunded in full or transferred to another event.
